JOHN T. BARRY Maroney states a newspaper clipping says "John T. Barry passed away December 29, after a long lingering illness. It came as a shock to his many friends. He had been a valued employee of the M.C.R.R. for the past thirty one years. Many friends and neighbors, everyone who knew him, mourn the loss of a most highly esteemed, much loved, unselfish and sympathizing friend. He was naturally possessed of a social, genial nature. It seemed a part of his life: if he could not say a good word of anyone, he refrained from saying anything. As a husband and father he was faithful and affectionate. The deceased leaves a widow and a daughter, Mrs. Burton Burrell and two grandsons Carl and Glenard of Detroit, also two brothers, and one sister, Daniel and William of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Laughlin of this city."
